Enough to cover the ways your category is asked about, and then stop changing them. Comparability depends on the set staying fixed: adding prompts where you happen to be strong raises the number without anything changing in the world.

Cover each thing you want to be known for with several prompts, phrased differently. With too few prompts, one answer changing moves the total noticeably and the trend becomes hard to read.
Keep the set stable
- Add prompts in deliberate batches, not one at a time as ideas come up.
- Changes to the set are recorded and dated; use those dates when reading trends.
- Never remove a prompt because its answer is unflattering. That is the prompt doing its job.
