Ahrefs Brand Radar prompt tracking starts at $50 a month. Noma starts at $79 a month for 50 prompts tracked daily on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude.

Choose a suite if your team already lives in Semrush or Ahrefs and wants AI data beside keywords and links. Choose a dedicated tool if AI answers are the main job. This page sets out the differences, including where the suites are stronger.

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit

Semrush’s help centre lists the toolkit at $99 a month with no free trial. It includes 1 project, 1 domain for brand performance analysis, 300 daily queries in AI analysis reports, 1,000 daily queries in prompt research, 25 prompts for prompt tracking, AI search checks in Site Audit for up to 100 pages and 10 CSV exports a day. The page describes running queries through models “like ChatGPT and Google’s AI Mode”, and prompt tracking on platforms “like Google AI Mode and ChatGPT”.

Semrush and Microsoft Copilot

PPC Land reported on 29 October 2026 that Semrush told customers of Enterprise AIO, its enterprise AI tracking product, that it would stop tracking Microsoft Copilot on 9 November 2026. The report says Semrush pointed to changes in Copilot’s access rules, and that tracking for ChatGPT, Gemini and its other engines continues. Noma by Nurdd does not track Copilot either; see the engine list above.

Ahrefs Brand Radar

Ahrefs sells AI tracking in two ways on its Brand Radar page. Custom prompt tracking starts at $50 a month for 83 prompts a day and 2,500 checks a month, with overage at $0.020 a check, all platforms (Claude available) and a custom refresh cadence; the same page says prompt tracking is free for every paid Ahrefs plan from Lite up. The AI Visibility Index maps brands across 531 million prompts in Ahrefs’ database: $199 a month with AI Overviews and AI Mode, or $699 a month for all models. Ahrefs customers also get YouTube, TikTok and Reddit data, free while in beta. Ahrefs plans are $129 (Lite), $249 (Standard) and $449 (Advanced) a month, and its pricing FAQ says it does not run free trials.

Where Semrush and Ahrefs are stronger

  • SEO data in the same place. Keywords, backlinks, rank tracking and site audits sit next to the AI data, so one team can work from one tool. Noma does not track search rankings or backlinks.
  • Large prompt databases. Ahrefs’ AI Visibility Index covers 531 million prompts with no setup, and Semrush’s prompt research shows topic-level volume. Noma tracks the prompts you choose.
  • Microsoft Copilot. Ahrefs lists Copilot in its index. Noma does not track Copilot or Meta AI.
  • Video and social sources. Ahrefs offers YouTube, TikTok and Reddit data to its customers in beta.

Where Noma is different

  • Four engines on the entry plan. ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude are included on every paid plan, tracked daily, with Grok, GPT-5, Claude Sonnet, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral Small, Mistral Medium, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews available as add-ons.
  • Built for acting on answers. Noma finds topics where competitors are named and you are not, drafts content briefs and articles with FAQ and Article structured data, and audits a site for AEO readiness.
  • AI crawlers and referrals. Agent analytics shows which AI crawlers fetch each page and which assistants send visitors.
  • In Claude and Cursor. The MCP server is on every paid plan.
  • A trial. Every plan starts with a 3-day trial of 25 prompts.

Which should you choose?

  • Already pay for Semrush or Ahrefs and want a first look at AI answers: start with the AI features in your suite.
  • Need Copilot or a large prompt database: Ahrefs Brand Radar lists both.
  • AI answers are the main job, with Claude, Gemini and Perplexity tracked daily and content work in the same tool: a dedicated tool such as Noma by Nurdd.
  • Both: keep your SEO suite and add a dedicated tracker; see AI SEO tools to add alongside Ahrefs and Semrush.

Questions people ask

Is Semrush or Ahrefs better than Noma for AI visibility tracking?

It depends on what you already use. Semrush and Ahrefs put AI tracking next to keyword, backlink and site audit data, which suits teams already in those suites. Noma by Nurdd is a dedicated AI visibility tool that includes ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude on every paid plan from $79 a month, with a 3-day trial.

How much does Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit cost?

Semrush's help centre lists the AI Visibility Toolkit at $99 a month, with no free trial. It includes 1 project, 25 prompts for prompt tracking, 300 daily queries in AI analysis reports and 1,000 in prompt research, as read on 5 November 2026.

How much does Ahrefs Brand Radar cost?

Ahrefs' Brand Radar page shows custom prompt tracking starting at $50 a month, for 83 prompts a day and 2,500 checks a month, and says prompt tracking is free for every paid Ahrefs plan from Lite up. The AI Visibility Index is $199 a month with AI Overviews and AI Mode, or $699 a month for all models. Ahrefs plans start at $129 a month.

Does Semrush still track Microsoft Copilot?

PPC Land reported on 29 October 2026 that Semrush told its Enterprise AIO customers it would stop tracking Microsoft Copilot on 9 November 2026, because changes to Copilot's access rules stop tools like its own from collecting answers. Tracking for ChatGPT, Gemini and its other engines continues, according to the report.

Can I use Noma alongside Semrush or Ahrefs?

Yes. Noma by Nurdd does not track search rankings or backlinks, so it sits alongside an SEO suite rather than replacing it. You can keep Semrush or Ahrefs for SEO and use a dedicated tool for daily AI answers, sources and content gaps.
