Looking for an alternative to Profound or Peec AI rarely means either tool is wrong. It usually means a team has a requirement it needs to see stated plainly: a particular engine, a pricing model, an integration or an agency setup.
Profound and Peec AI both describe daily prompt runs across AI engines. This guide looks at eight other tools and who each one suits.
A note on who wrote this: this list is written by Noma, which makes one of the tools on it. Every detail about another company comes from that company’s own public FAQ, pricing or help pages as we checked them in September 2026. Products in this category change quickly, so confirm current details with each vendor before you buy.
Why teams look beyond Profound and Peec AI
Most teams look further because of fit. The common reasons are engine coverage, pricing model, integrations, budget and agency needs.
Engine coverage
Profound’s public pages do not detail which platforms it covers, and Peec AI runs prompts on whichever models you track. Teams that need a specific surface, such as Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode or Microsoft Copilot, often want a vendor that lists it on its own pages.
Pricing model
Peec AI prices by tracked prompts and models, and Profound uses Lite and Enterprise plans with credits for its agents. Some buyers prefer fixed published plans; others want a low monthly starting price.
Integrations
Peec AI offers a Looker Studio connector, a REST API and an MCP server. Some teams need something else, such as GA4, Shopify or Google Search Console.
Budget
A small team testing AI visibility for the first time may want a lower entry point and a trial before committing.
Agency needs
Agencies look for client workspaces, white-label reporting, pitch tools or partner programs, and these vary a lot between vendors.
Dedicated AI visibility platforms
Six of the alternatives are built mainly to track how AI answers describe brands. Noma comes first because it is our product, so weigh that section accordingly.
Noma
Noma tracks five AI engines, shows the sources behind each answer, and helps you close the gaps it finds.
- Engines: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude on self-serve plans. Grok is a $49 a month add-on plus credits per answer, and is included on the free trial and Enterprise.
- Data: each tracked prompt runs on each engine once a day from a fresh, non-personalized session, can be re-run on demand, and keeps the full answer.
- Metrics and gaps: visibility, share of voice, position, sentiment (0 to 100, on answers naming the brand) and cited sources, with Earned and Owned views, an Actions page, content drafts your team edits and publishes, and gap analysis on Growth and above.
- Site and crawlers: a 12-point site audit and Agent Analytics from server logs (webhook, Vercel log drain or access-log upload).
- Integrations: Google Search Console, an MCP server for Claude, CSV export, an API on Scale and above, and white-label reports on Studio, Agency and Enterprise.
- Pricing: Starter $79 a month ($65 on the annual rate), Growth $299 ($249), Scale $799 ($665), Studio $499 ($415) and Agency $1,199 ($999), with custom Enterprise. Current prices are on the pricing page.
- Trial: 3 days, 25 prompts, all five engines, free to start (a card is taken).
- Limits: no tracking of Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI or ChatGPT Shopping, and no SSO or SOC 2 report.
Who it suits: brands and agencies focused on the main chat assistants that want fixed pricing and a path from data to action.

Who it suits: SEO teams that want instant benchmarks and prompts linked to search demand.
Which alternative fits which need?
Start from the reason you are looking. Each one points to a different part of the list.
- Google AI Overviews or Copilot: AthenaHQ, Scrunch AI, Otterly.ai and Evertune list them.
- SOC 2 and SSO: AthenaHQ and Scrunch AI state both, and Goodie AI lists both on Enterprise.
- Published fixed pricing: Noma, Scrunch AI and Otterly.ai state plan prices.
- Agency workflows: Noma Studio and Agency, Scrunch AI Agency Core, and Goodie AI pitch workspaces.
- SEO suite users: Semrush and Ahrefs.
How to choose an alternative
- Write down the one or two requirements that made you look beyond Profound and Peec AI.
- List the engines your buyers use and shortlist tools that cover them.
- Check security needs, and remove tools that do not state what your procurement team requires.
- Decide how often you need data. Daily tracking and periodic sampling answer different questions.
- Price each shortlisted tool at your real prompt count, using a guide such as which prompts to track to size it.
- Run the same prompts through two or three tools and see which one helps you decide what to change.
